When did you start in design and illustration?

!

As a kid I drew comics and created trading cards of my friends. Fast forward a dozen years and I'm working as freelance illustrator and graphic designer, mostly in comics. My experinces ranges from storyboard, webdesign, animation and illustration to layout, caricature, branding, package design and inventing new typefaces.

How would you describe your style?

!

Some say it's wise to develop a easily detected style that always looks the same but to me thats far to uncreative - thats why I tend to change approach for every project in technique, composition or material. My most used style has a lot of cellshaded outline artwork, spiced with a lot of humouristic detail. I try never to repeat myself.

What do you think of working with commercial projects?

I prefer it, to have boundaries and messages to pass by. In my own work I tend to give myself assignments close to commercial dittos.

Where do you work?

!

My studio is based in Gävle, Sweden, where I have access to screenprint-, movie- and sound editing studios, but since I already work digtal over the internet, I can work anywhere in ther world.

From where do you get your ideas and inspiration?

!

Each projekt gives birth to the next. I usually find new ways of expression, a cunning twist or a continuation. My comic book favourites at the moment are Maus, Spirou and WE3.
